Ray Crist, founder of the Jaguar Path, is a dynamic yoga teacher who has been initiated as a healer and teacher by the Quero Indians in the Andes of Peru. He has traveled around the world in search of indigenous healers, shamans, and yogis to heal himself from cancer. His search led him from Northern Thailand through Mexico to the mountains and jungle of Peru. He is trained and certified in several modalities and holds Yoga and Shamanism are his dharma and his way of life.
Ray is a sailing boat skipper, a scuba diver, he flys single engine airplanes, he loves surfing, snowboarding and mountain biking.
Based in the Berkshires and travels the world leading workshops. He leads expeditions in Peru (the Sacred Valley and the Jungle) and in the summers he leads Yoga and Sailing Retreats in the Greek islands.
Jill Vose is the administrator and teacher in the Jaguar Path. She is a dedicated Yogini and energy healer. She is also the General Manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott, and the founder of Aspire Yoga Studio. Her work is based on the premise that we can heal the past to create a future reflective of our heart’s desire. Jill also conducts leadership workshops, and private consultations for business growth and personal healing. Jill has traveled to Peru, through the Sacred Valley and has been initiated as a healer by the elder Don Fransisco.
Monica Celli de Movillan is a yogini and Shaman practitioner. She is an artist, teacher, mother, nature lover, equestrian and works with her dog Goose who is training as a therapy dog. Over the last 25 years her professions have brought her through teaching High School Art and being the Department Chair at public High Schools in Berkshire County. Monica is a powerful practicing Shaman and teaches yoga for the Jaguar Path. She is powerful and humble and loves sharing her life experiences and Jaguar knowledge with students. Grace Jull has been leading transformational workshops since 1986. Having grown up at the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, she was initiated into the power and peace of the natural world throughout her childhood through back country skiing, hiking, bear encounters, almost being in an avalanche…this direct experience deeply informs the way she transmits her understanding of the Forces of Nature inside and outside of us. She has also apprenticed with the elements, depending on fire for heat and living without electricity and water for two years, training to offer Watsu/aquatic massage for 12 years, and founding a non-profit for farmers and glimpsing into the art of agriculture. She has taught yoga in the Arctic to remote Inuit communities and to corporations and offers a breadth of understanding about the healing potential of Yoga for diverse populations. Larissa Hall Carlson, RYT 500, is a Kripalu Yoga teacher, Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant, and Yee Yoga teacher. Jovinna Chan, ERYT-500, is the Assistant Dean of the Kripalu School of Yoga, where she also serves as a faculty member for Yoga Teacher Training programs.
